Dual roles both as the Manager of Corporate Engineering and as the Maintenance Manager.  We were an SQF level 2 and formerly AIB facility of nearly 600 people.

  • Designing, backwards engineering, machining, welding and fabrication of difficult to obtain parts.
  • Performed complex electrical diagnostics using CE wiring diagrams and Italian language based Omron, KM and Siemens PLC programs.
  • Especially skilled in diagnostics and repair of GL-26/ GL-18 vacuum and standard vertical form and fill and a wide variety of portion pack machinery.
  • Acted as coordinator and trainer for a crew of packaging maintenance personnel.

Brewery

Conducted plant walk-throughs, scheduled work and oversaw maintenance activities.

  • As working supervisor, performed and oversaw troubleshooting and repairs on motors, Allen Bradley PLC and information super-highway systems, conveyance systems, a wide variety of sensor and peripheral types and performed extensive maintenance and troubleshooting on high-speed packaging, bottling, canning and seamer systems, and palletizing machines.
  • Served as supervisor to crew of 6 maintenance technicians.
  • Designed and assisted in the construction of a variety of specialty packaging and material unloading machines.
  • Experienced with can and bottle depalletizers, hydraulic palletizers, ink jet labelers, Krone rotary labelers, case erectors, HK and Crown counter-pressure bottle fillers, plumbing systems and the entire array of equipment found in a modern full function brewery or wet-pack food plant.
  • Handled extensive metal fabrication including Sanitary stainless TIG welding and aluminum TIG and MIG welding.

  • Member Master Brewers Association of the Americas
  • Installed and maintained a variety of pumping, aeration, carbonation and filtration systems including centrifugal, positive displacement, metering, air powered diaphragm and hydraulic pumps of various sizes and capacities.
  • Boiler maintenance and operations, Sanitary TIG welding and all aspects of brewery construction and operation.
